So we've been really busy lately, and hardly been able to rest. Nate's been working really hard helping plan a conference for this week. He's doing great and trying to balance school with that is quite a challenge.

We have been really lucky even though we're busy to spend time with some lovely people. Nate's cousin Shayla and her husband were here for almost two weeks, and we had so much fun with them. We had a great Valentine's celebration with them and their stay had great weather.

We were also able to go to Town and celebrate with our friends Paige and Doug. It was Paige's 21st birthday and we were grateful to be able to spend that time with them.

We feel lucky to be surrounded with such great people all the time.

Happy moment of the day:
I actually made a good dinner! I don't like making the same thing over and over again because I get tired of eating it so I'm constantly experimenting and trying something new-- which can sometimes lead to an unfortunate little meal. But tonight's dinner, great.

Oh boy, am I in trouble. Sorry to those of you who actually visit my blog (Chelsea). I'm such a slacker. I haven't done a new entry in forever. Yes, nearly a month. That's what happens when I get back into the swing of things after the holidays I guess.

So quick recap of all that's happened...
a new year...

hm, well. Nate got a new job at school. He's now working for the assistant to the President of the school in the Administration. Really good experience for his future. Bummer is, he had to give up his job at the school paper and he dreadfully misses his access to the cameras. We will have to invest I'm afraid. (afraid of the costs, not the camera)

New classes for both of us, which is good. We like change. Nate's got a lot of reading and writing because of his switch of studies... but he's handling it remarkably well. I am also enjoying (most of the time) my new classes.

We're both planning big conferences for our works so it's a creative mania around here. And we bought about 150 bananas today for freezing and dipping in chocolate for foodfest next weekend. Our house is pretty neato right now.

I also made cinnamon rolls for the first time.
As I told my dad... "I was feeling pretty domesticated..."
